Sustainability has high priority at Trisoplast, which is why we are always happy to deploy our product to create healthier living environments. Beelen Recycling is an example of just such a project. We quite literally laid the foundations for a sustainable business.

New location

We were asked to seal a new site for Beelen Recycling, one of the largest demolition and recycling companies in the Netherlands. To be able to continue their recycling operation in Vlaardingen responsibly, the site had to be completely sealed with Trisoplast. The previous user of the site of 28,000 m2 was a fertilizer factory.

Cooperation

The Trisoplast liner formed the foundation of the project. This was covered by a layer of incinerator bottom ash mixed with sand and cement, followed by a covering layer of asphalt. The whole formed the perfect starting point for Beelen’s sustainable recycling operation. It is also a good example of how Trisoplast can be combined with other materials in the customer’s plans.
