Trisoplast has the lowest environmental impact in the Life Cycle Analysis for mineral seals in landfills. That is the conclusion of Sjoerd van de Wal’s study. He is a student of HAS university of applied sciences and investigated the environmental impact on the entire chain of production, construction, users, transport, demolition and consumer phase. He also calculated the Environmental Cost Indicator (MKI score) of mineral seals. This conclusion is in line with our ambition to create a mineral seal that is as durable as possible. The impact on the environment is low because we use our raw materials as efficiently as possible and we make a high-quality seal that lasts as long as possible.

Sjoerd has thoroughly studied the sealing materials and the calculation methods used and also proposed improvements.
