The first time Trisoplast was applied for bottom protection at GPS Amsterdam, was back in 2019. Just like then, for the construction of tank pit 500, Trisoplast was selected for the environmental protective bottom liner. As supplier for contractor Geerdink Aannemersbedrijf, we delivered and installed a layer of Trisoplast at the bottom of the tank pit and between the steel bundwall and the 4 actual tank pit foundations. The unique properties of Trisoplast, such like its extremely low permeability and very high plasticity, create many advantages in case of differential settlements in the subsoil. Besides, Trisoplast is very easy to install, especially in difficult circumstances, such as in tank pits with a lot of sub-surface infrastructures and adjacent constructions to connect to.
